Twelfth Night Comes to CHS

Shakespeare in the Schools performed Twelfth Night at CHS Monday, Oct. 17.

The play is about two twins who are separated after their shipwrecks. One of the twins, Viola, pretends to be a man in the new town where she starts to live. This causes all sorts of mishaps for her and others. It ends with the fulfillment of her love for a man she started working for.

When the performance finished in Wynona Thompson Auditorium, the actors taught three different workshops: movement, improvisation, and dialogue.

β€œI went with all the choir, and we worked on movement, facial expressions, and expressing music through our bodies,” said senior Skylah Bree. β€œIt was really helpful as music students because we learned that you need to use your whole body to express the emotions through the music, not just your face.”

The group performs in Powell on Wednesday and in Meeteetse on Thursday. The tour does not end until December.
